Tetsuya’s Masterkitchen by Electrolux
Tetsuya Wakuda, one of the world’s leading chefs, is renowned for his culinary philosophy, technique and design. According to Tetsuya, an inspiring and practical kitchen environment is a key ingredient to
cooking perfection. That’s why he has collaborated with Electrolux, to design a spectacular cooking and dining space within his Sydney restaurant, Tetsuya’s.
”My restaurant has been using Electrolux kitchen appliances for more than 20 years so I was very excited to work with the design team and create the ultimate domestic kitchen,” said Tetsuya. “We’ve included some unique features and design elements that demonstrate the beauty of a functional kitchen.”
Tetsuya’s Masterkitchen features the dark and seductive Electrolux Ebony Kitchen Collection. The black glossy range showcases touch electronic controls, smooth flat panel doors and a sleek black finish, complemented with stainless steel handles. Included within this range is an induction cooktop; a technology favoured by Tetsuya.
Scott King, Senior Design Manager, Electrolux Asia Pacific said, “In designing Tetsuya’s Masterkitchen, we have fused Tetsuya’s aesthetic and functionality preferences with world-class international trends to create a showpiece of design and technology.”
“The Ebony range creates a striking contrast to the marble white bench, which is also complemented by dark wooden cabinetry, which adds warmth to the overall feel of the room,” continued King.
