Electrolux joins aid for flood victims

Electrolux Thailand led by Khun Sutti Manokitjarunman, General Manager, together with more than 40 employees recently traveled to the flood victim shelter at Government Complex, Changwattana Road to present 500 sets of flood relief packages to the representative; Khun Somruk Tangnaikuntham, Inspector of Treasury Department, Ministry of Finance.

Following the presentation, the group then headed to the temporary shelter for flood evacuees at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus to donate 20 Electrolux washing machines and dryers to Assistant Professor Ph.D. Prinya Thaewanarumitkul, Assistant Rector at Thammasat University.

The company donated the equipment to help flood victims wash their clothes and contribute to their good health.  The Electrolux team was warmly welcomed by people at the shelter who had lined up from early morning to wash their clothes. In addition, the Electrolux employees worked together to make the clothes lines for hanging additional clothes. For many it was the first time they had clean clothes to wear since leaving their flooded homes.
