As part of our investment behind the AEG brand we have also continued that investment through new training initiatives to support the launch of AEG Neue Kollektion.

AEG e-Excellence Training

Alongside the AEG Academy we have launched the e-Excellence website.

This e-learning platform provides an excellent foundation for anyone in sales. Its modules include product information, questioning techniques and market information so delegates can select the relevant categories for their business.

AEG Training Academy at Luton

The Training Academy at Luton opened its doors to retailers on May 9th and it provides a range of comprehensive packages from Intermediate to Advanced levels of training to support and develop their product knowledge and sales techniques, in four state-of-the-art working kitchens with a range of live products from the 2011 AEG Neue Kollektion.

“Delegates will have access to the latest cutting-edge models from the AEG Neue Kollektion range – including the AEG ProCombi steam oven and the AEG MaxiSense induction hobs with TFT controls. This state-of-the-art training centre will ensure all our customers have the opportunity to learn more about our AEG Neue Kollektion ranges and will allow colleagues to interact and experience this fantastic new range of appliances”, says Graham Bremer, Head of Marketing at Electrolux.

AEG Mobile Training Academy

The new mobile Training Academy was launched towards the end of June and is designed to bring training to retailers.

“This ‘extension to the AEG Training Academy’ will be an industry first, where we can quite literally “deliver” training to the doors of retailers who are not able to come to Luton”, comments Graham Bremer.

This bespoke AEG Mobile Academy has the capacity for up to 15 delegates cooking on fully working appliances, or up to 40 delegates in a theatre-style presentation.

Raymond Laidlaw, AEG’s National Training Manager says: “The objective for any training session is to ensure that all our retail partners have the confidence to talk about AEG features and benefits with their consumers.

Understanding features and benefits is one thing. However demonstrating these features is something else. I truly believe the “art of demonstration” is the key to successful selling, and with the addition of our new AEG Training

Academy and our new AEG Mobile Academy, we can let them experience these first hand.”
