Film industry heavyweights attend Chef’s Table in the Electrolux Agora at Cannes 2012

Producers Grant Hill (Cloud Altlas, Matrix), Mortiz Borman (Terminator: Salvation, Oliver Stone’s Savages) and actress Sharon Zhang enjoyed a menu prepared by Electrolux Michelin Star partner Chef Bruno Oger.
“What an experience” said Moritz Borman. “Most of us here today have been lucky enough to dine in some of the world’s best restaurants but this was incredible. We were watching a creative culinary genius in action, right in front of us, and having Bruno talking us through his secrets made it even more unique. Oh, and the food was out of this world!”
Set in the heart of prestigious restaurant kitchens, a Chef’s Table is an exclusive culinary experience where guests are invited to dine from a bespoke menu, prepared in front of them and personally for them, by the chef. Usually only available to close friends and associates of the chef, Electrolux are using 90 years of expertise and their relationships with 50% of Europe’s Michelin starred restaurants to launch The Chef’s Table by Electrolux. The initiative will open the kitchens of some of the best restaurants in Europe to dinner guests, starting at the Agora in Cannes.
“The Agora kitchen is fitted with professional Electrolux appliances and is home to award-winning chefs who use our products in their own kitchens on a daily basis.” said Frederique Pirenne, Electrolux PR Director Europe. “It’s the perfect place to launch The Chef’s Table. This Michelin star dining experience demonstrates how we support these chefs to create culinary masterpieces for guests that expect the very best.”
The Chef’s Table at Cannes has been host to a number of film stars and VIPs throughout the Festival, including Grand Jury members Jean-Paul Gaultier and Ewan McGregor.
The Chef’s Table by Electrolux will be open for on-line bookings across Europe later in 2012.
