Electrolux has again been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series, where the company was also ranked among the sector leaders in the rating of its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors.

Electrolux has this year been included in the Global 100 ranking of the world’s most sustainable companies, returning to the list for the first time since 2005. The company was also for the second year running named Sector Leader in the RobecoSAM 2013 global sustainability rating, and ranked as one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies in terms of addressing climate change.
The prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for 2012 announced that Electrolux maintains sector leader in the Durable Household Products category. Electrolux score had further improved compared to 2011.
Electrolux has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies 2012 by the Ethisphere Institute. The annual ranking names 145 companies that surpass their industry peers. Honorees are rewarded for implementing business practices and initiatives that are instrumental to the company’s success, benefit the community and raise the bar for ethical standards within the industry.
Continuing its ‘world tour’ the vacfromthesea has now reached New Zealand . Here it has just hit the road to help spread awareness about the world’s bad plastic karma, how we can address this imbalance by improving recycling habits and what Electrolux is doing in this space. In a two week tour Green ambassador Julian Huitfeldt and the Electrolux Vac from the Sea will travel to schools and retailers across New Zealand, all the while raising money for Allergy NZ.
Electrolux has received an award from the United Nations for Vac from the Sea. The award is given out by the United Nations in collaboration with the international public relations association IPRA and was presented at a ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, October 21. Vac from the Sea also won the corporate communications category as well as the Efes Group Special Award.
AEG is delighted that its appliances were selected for the Eco Village Demonstration House kitchen which was opened in Bicester this month by local MP for North Oxfordshire, Tony Baldry.
