Electrolux is meeting its commitment in Memphis to contract with local and minority- and women-owned companies. One-third of the contracted amount to-date has been delivered to minority- or women-owned businesses.
Electrolux today outlined the awarded contracts to-date to subcontractors for the construction of its new North American Cooking Products manufacturing center in Memphis. Electrolux also provided specific steps it is taking to solicit bids and award contracts to Shelby County minority- and women-owned businesses (MWBE).
Stefano Marzano has been appointed Chief Design Officer, a new role at Electrolux leading all design-related competencies in the Group. The changes enable Electrolux to increase the relevance and speed with which innovative solutions are taken to market.
