Honey baked ham

By Eric Low

Honey baked hams are a traditional Christmas dinner dish that have the dual advantages of being easy to prepare and can feed a large group. Give this year’s ham a fruity twist with Chef E’s Apricot Glazed Honey Baked Ham with Stewed Cabbage.

Once you have the ham, all you’ll need is to prepare the glaze and sauce from apple and apricot jam and juice. You can make your own fresh apricot jam with the Electrolux EBR2700K blender. Use its Pulse feature to break up the fruit and get a thick, chunky consistency.

Roast beef

Some roast beef dishes can be surprisingly easy to prepare, like this Roast Beef With Slow-Cooked Tomatoes and Garlic. Simply season the beef with salt and pepper, then combine tomatoes, garlic, thyme, oil, salt and pepper together and scatter around the meat. Then pop it into the oven for 80 minutes and you have a medium rare roast ready to serve.  Preparation time – 10 minutes. Cooking time – just slightly over an hour.
