Deutsche Bank and Electrolux Major Appliances – North America (EMA-NA), a leading appliance manufacturer, today announced they offered two one-day educational events to introduce Financial Supply Chain (FSC) solutions to EMA-NA suppliers.  On Wednesday, June 22 and Thursday, June 23 at the Anderson, SC, Electrolux manufacturing facility, Electrolux and Deutsche Bank conducted one-on-one discussions with two separate groups of EMA-NA suppliers, hosting executive roundtables and providing tours of the Electrolux Anderson refrigeration factory.

Geoff Pollak, Vice President, Purchasing, EMA-NA, said “These educational events leverage the strong cooperation between Electrolux Major Appliances – North America and Deutsche Bank to explain this attractive FSC offering that benefits EMA-NA suppliers.  By inviting our suppliers to our factory, they can understand more about the appliance market, learn about working capital requirements as well as the many advantages of participating in this FSC program.”

Patrick Rittendale, Managing Director and Head of Trade and Cash Solutions – Americas, Deutsche Bank, said, “Given the  number of attendees that registered for the two-day event, there is clearly a strong interest in the FSC product It requires education for suppliers to embrace this financing option and we will use this opportunity to explain how FSC can help suppliers improve liquidity and cash flow.”

Suppliers interested in participating in the FSC program are encouraged to contact Deutsche Bank’s Diana Wong at +1 212 250 1448 or to send an email to scf.workshop@electrolux.com.
