CHARLOTTE, NC, August 27, 2013 – Frigidaire announced today its new Gallery® Freestanding Induction Range in Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel, a new technology that reduces the appearance of fingerprints and smudges. The range also features an induction cooktop and the latest in cooking technology – allowing consumers to save time and and clean-up the kitchen faster.

The induction cooktop – which transfers heat directly from the cooktop to the cookware – is more responsive than gas and electric, giving consumers exceptional temperature control and allowing them to easily go from simmer to boil in seconds. The cooktop also stays cool to the touch, meaning spills can’t burn on and cleanup is a breeze.
A Quick Preheat option on the oven also gives users the ability to heat in less than six minutes while True Convection, a single convection fan, circulates hot air throughout the oven for faster and more even multi-rack baking.
